Registered Females For Sale

WL Lucy (ET,PV,D) - $16,500

WL Loretta (PV,D) - Selling on March 11 Auction

WL Loretta (PV,D) - Selling on March 11 Auction

We shouldn't even be selling this heifer.  She is the first ever calf born by crossing one of the best females in the Highland breed, Summit Ranch Shaelyn with one of the hottest bulls in the breed, WL Genesis.  Shaelyn is the only cow to produce a three-time National Champion female.  Oh, and she has produced many other National Champions as well.  Genesis provides some Scottish heritage and compliments the femininity found in Shaelyn females.  We love this heifer, and she is just starting to show us her potential.  Shaelyn heifers are known to peak around 24 months old.   Go take a quick peek at the pictures and descriptions of this young lady's parents under the Highland Sires and Donor Cows section of our website to learn more about them.  Heifer will be started on halter training, but may not be fully halter trained at the time of pick up.

We've loved this girl since she hit the ground running.  We have several ET 1/2 siblings from her mother and love them as well.  Therefore, we can't keep them all, and she is being made available.  As someone once told us, you should sell the best.  Well, she is up there with some of the best genetics in the breed.  Loretta is very feminine heifer, who is going to make a great cow someday.  She has great feet and legs and a good temperament.  Her dam has a good udder and is very brood and wide.  Her sire, WL Genesis brings ton of Scottish genetics.  Go take a quick peek at the pictures and descriptions of this young lady's parents under the Highland Sires and Donor Cows section of our website to learn more about them.   She is up-to-date on vaccinations, including Brucellosis (BANGS).  Heifer will be started on halter training, but may not be fully halter trained at the time of pick up.  The final sale price will include a health certificate, if leaving Minnesota.

SOLD for $14,250 - WL Quinoa - Due to Calve June 20

Color: Black    Registration Number: 56476

DOB: 9-2-2016

Available to bid online at HighlandSale.org.  Sale starts June 6 and ends June 11

Black beauty meets style.  Broke to lead and easy to handle, WL Quinoa is a farm favorite.  A daughter of EZ Acres Kyle, Quinoa has a nice tight udder and is very feminine like a lot of Kyle daughters.  Her striking black hair with white highlights has passed on to her calves as well.  She is due to calve on June 20 as she was in standing heat to WL Genesis on September 10, 2021.  WL Genesis is an outstanding silver bull, whose sire, Angus 8th of Dunvegan, was a Scottish bull.  On the dam’s side, Quinoa brings Windemere breeding to your herd.  With a calf due, June 20, we’ve taken all the work out of this for you.  We will calve WL Quinoa for you and keep her, and her new calf for an additional four weeks after birth to ensure the calf is strong enough for transport.  We will also register the calf with AHCA during this time.  Don’t miss this chance at beauty and style, paired with a new WL Genesis’ calf.

SOLD for $25,000 - We Tired Acres Marsha

Color: Red    Registration Number: 56,777

DOB: 04/21/17

A young cow, We Tired Marsha, is pregnant with her second calf. She is confirmed pregnant to WL Genesis (ET, D), a Scottish-style, silver bull, who is the son of Angus the 8th of Dunvegan (imported semen from Scotland) and Black Watch Portia, a fancy silver cow that was shown extensively. Marsha’s dam, We Tired Juliette, was a top dam at We Tired Acres, who calved into her late teens. Her sire BRF Barra, passes on correct structure and light highlights in his offspring. Marsha is a beautiful red with light highlights on her head and tail. Halter broke, but a bit timid, she is not going to boss your other cows around in your pasture. She was shown as a yearling, so she has been around people plenty, which is part of why she loves a grain bucket and treats.
