WL Nina (D) - $12,000

Gray Owl's Leanna (D) and heifer calf, WL Stella - Auction - April 11

Gray Owl's Leanna (D) and heifer calf, WL Stella - Auction - April 11

AHCA Reg. No: 69,276

Lineage: Gray Owl's Britta x WL Genesis

Color: Yellow

DOB: 6/2/2024

Dang do we love our Britta Calves! Lots of growth, wide in the rib cage, very broody, and incredibly friendly. Gray Owl's Britta is a prime example of what true cow power looks like. She consistently produces moderate to larger framed heifers that we adore, we just can't keep them all. WL Nina is sired by WL Genesis, a silver bull by the Scottish Import, Angus the 8th of Dunvegan, and out the extensively shown Black Watch Portia. This isn't our first Britta x Genesis Cross and we just love the results. WL Nina is a prime candidate to be your next best brood cow.

Gray Owl's Leanna (D) and heifer calf, WL Stella - Auction - April 11

 AHCA Reg. No: 57,677

Lineage: CBS Gradee x JAR Mira

Color: Red

DOB: 5/8/17

A nice pair of females. Gray Owl’s Leanna is a well-made mature cow who is just deep and broad, not to mention that tremendous hip.  She sells with a yellow January heifer calf at her side, WL Stella, sired by WL Genesis.  As of 3/15/2026 WL Stella’s AHCA registration status is pending, but you can see her pedigree by clicking here, and she will have a registration before sale day. Typical of Gray Owl bred cows, Leanna has a larger frame, thick legs, and good feet. And even though she has been on the halter minimally as a mature cow, her video shows just how respectful and docile she is, even as her calf is running around. A proven mother, great conformation and perfect newbie-farmer attitude, this is the one you want to start your herd, who comes with a calf ready for you to love on.

Gray Owl’s Leanna is a nt821 carrier (Myostatin Del11 gene)

WL Naomi (D) - Auction - April 11

 AHCA Reg. No: 69,419

Lineage: STR Encore x Gray Owl's Britta

Color: Red

DOB: 4/11/2024

This one is ripe for the picking. A spitting image of her 2023 National Champion Daddy, STR Encore, she walks with grace and beauty. Structurally correct, you can see the formation of her wide hip structure and added bone from her powerhouse dam. Packed with docility and personality, she has been led by Junior’s and is eager to please.  Built for the long haul, this bonita senorita is one to build a genetic powerhouse around.  Be one of the first to own an STR Encore progeny. Eligible for the Windland Flats’ Show Incentive. NT821 negative by pedigree

WL Naomi (D) - Auction - April 11

AHCA Reg. No: 69,275

Lineage: Stewarts Rosa x WL Genesis

Color: Yellow

DOB: 4/15/2024

Naomi's dam, Stewarts Rosa, is heavily influenced by Schon Boden Genetics. Schon Boden Farms is well-known for creating great cattle that have loads of longevity. Everyone wants a piece of those Schon Boden Genetics! Stewarts Rosa has really put work into this heifer. Rosa is not a very large cow and she really packed on the pounds with WL Naomi. Here is a heifer that will mature into a moderate size and like her parents, become an outstanding producer.  Naomi wants to be a cow and not a pet.

Highland cattle are known for their docility.  90% of the cattle on our farm are halter broke.  We halter brake or start halter breaking all calves before rehoming.  The calves are socialized at a young age and many are born in our calving pens, allowing them to bond and imprint with humans right away.
